1) What kind of alcohol ink artist are you? How did you get started? Tell us a little about you.
I’m an alcohol ink artist living in LA . I love the push and pull finding the pictures in the clouds. I got started in 2018 after taking a 20 year pause from art. Inks seemed to be a calming meditative way to create without the pressure of needing to be "right."
2) What would you say are your specialties as an alcohol ink artist? What sets you apart?
I specialize in portraits and animals and portraits, I'm a figurative painter that adores abstraction. I think what sets me apart from a lot of alcohol ink painters is my compulsion for realism.
3) Do you teach how to do this at all? How can we learn from you?
I haven't taught yet! But i do really love to share my experiences and methods with any artist that reaches out to me for tips or advice.
4) What advice for new alcohol ink artists would you offer?
My best advice for new alcohol ink artists is to embrace the magic ! Don't be afraid of being super free and letting up control.
5) What have you enjoyed most about using T-Rex Inks? Do you have any in-depth review videos / posts about our inks we can link to?
I've always been really excited about T-Rex inks. I bought all colors packs as soon as they were available. Super saturated colors!! Perfect for using alone or blending to make my own shades ! Id would love to make a T-Rex video tutorial as soon as possible and share. 💓💓💓💓
